MIL-G-85742(AS)
3.2.1.21 Servo disabled-enabled operation. During operation on internal
power and for at least 0.4 ± 0.1, -0.0 second after removal of disabling
voltage, the servo output torque in each channel shall be not greater than
50 in-lb. Servo torque shall reach 65 percent of the steady-state value
between 0.4 and 0.8 sec after removal of the magnetic amplifier disabling
voltage.
3.2.1.22 Enabling transient. The amplitude of the enabling transient
torque shall be not greater than 50 in-lb in each channel.
3.2.1.23. G-bias/navigation gain. With the GCS caged, in any of the
three positions of Figure 2, and servo magnetic amplifier enabled, the
G-bias/navigation gain function torque in each fin plane shall be as shown
in Figure 3 upon removal of the G-bias inhibit voltage and the navigation
set voltage.
3.2.1.23.1 G-bias torque vector. The G-bias torque vector, as
established in the roll phasing (see Figure 2), shall be within ±11 degrees
of the up direction at 10 ±1 seconds after removal of the G-bias inhibit
voltage.
G-bias vector angle - 45 - arc tan (torque right fin/torque up fin).
3.2.1.24 Power changeover and umbilical disconnect. Power changeover
and umbilical disconnect shall not affect seeker target lock-on and
tracking.
3.2.1.25 AFC signal. With no RF signal and internal power applied and
the magnetic amplifier enabled, the automatic frequency Control (AFC)
voltage shall be continous with no breaks.
3.2.2 Physical characteristics Physical characteristics of the GCS
shall be as specified on drawing 1466AS1200.
3.2.3 Reliability.
3.2.3.1 Reliability program.
A reliability program shall be established
Unless otherwise specified, the reliability
in accordance with MIL-STD-785.
program plan shall encompass, as
a minimum, tasks 101, 102, 103, 104, 105,
202, 203, 207, 208, 301 and 303
of MIL-STD-785 (see 6.2.2).
3.2.3.2 Quantitative reliability requirements. The GCS shall be capable
of meeting a Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) Θ o of 200 hours at the 90
percent lower confidence limit. Any Government furnished material used in
the GCS shall be excluded from the MTBF requirements.
